Bournemouth – Condensation, Mould & PIV Ventilation Improvements

This property was experiencing persistent condensation, elevated humidity levels, mould growth and cold internal surfaces. EX10 investigated the relationship between moisture, temperature and airflow throughout the property rather than simply treating the visible mould. A Positive Input Ventilation system was installed to improve whole-house airflow and help reduce humidity, alongside improvements to cold wall areas, window ventilation, mould-affected surfaces and external drainage. The project is a good example of how recurring mould can often be caused by a combination of condensation, poor airflow and cold surfaces rather than structural damp alone.
