Ferndown – Leaking Balcony Rebuilt with a Three-Layer Felt Waterproofing System

This balcony had been suffering from water ingress and poor drainage, with the existing construction allowing water to sit rather than discharge correctly. EX10 stripped back the affected balcony area, rebuilt the deck to create a more suitable fall and installed a new three-layer felt waterproofing system to create a durable, weatherproof finish. Particular attention was given to perimeter details, adjoining walls and drainage points before the balcony finishes were reinstated. The completed system provided a long-term solution to the previous leakage problem and significantly improved the way water was managed across the balcony.
