Litton Cheney – Hidden Water Ingress & Invasive Damp Investigation

What initially appeared to be a localised mould and cold-wall issue developed into a much more involved damp investigation once the affected floor was opened. EX10 discovered extremely wet floorboards, saturated insulation and membrane materials, together with standing water around the perimeter of the floor construction. The affected area was progressively opened to trace how water was entering and travelling through the structure, with particular attention given to external ground levels, stonework defects, drainage, the adjacent downpipe and a former doorway alteration. Damaged materials were removed, standing water extracted, drying equipment introduced and external defects addressed.
