Poole Quay – Wet & Rotten Timber Floor with Drainage Improvements

Long-term moisture had caused significant deterioration to the floor construction within this property, including wet and damaged timber, insulation and associated flooring materials. EX10 opened the affected floor to assess the extent of the damage, removed compromised materials and rebuilt the area using new timber, insulation and sheet flooring as required. External drainage was also improved using ACO drainage to help address one of the contributing moisture sources rather than simply replacing the damaged floor and leaving the underlying problem unresolved. This project demonstrates how damp can progress beyond cosmetic staining and begin affecting the actual floor structure.
