Wareham – Mould, Chimney Damp & Ventilation Improvements

This property was suffering from widespread mould growth, localised damp around the chimney and inadequate ventilation, including a failed bathroom extractor. EX10 carried out a detailed assessment of the property to identify the different factors contributing to the moisture problems, including internal airflow, chimney ventilation and external conditions around the building. The affected mould was professionally treated, ventilation improvements were introduced and additional measures were recommended to improve airflow and reduce the likelihood of recurring condensation and mould. The project is a good example of how several smaller moisture and ventilation issues can combine to create a much larger problem throughout a property.
