Parley – Rising Damp Treatment & Internal Wall Remediation

This property was suffering from extensive lower-level damp affecting a significant section of the internal walls. EX10 carried out a full rising damp treatment programme, including removal of affected plaster, installation of a new chemical damp-proof course and application of specialist waterproofing systems including MB2K. The walls were then reinstated using an appropriate breathable plaster system, while sections of flooring were carefully lifted and refitted to allow the remedial work to be completed correctly. This project demonstrates the importance of treating rising damp as a complete system rather than simply injecting the wall and redecorating.
